Kamala Harris Dismisses Claim Black Voters Won’t Support Buttigieg

Kamala Harris has dismissed claims that Black voters are less likely to support Pete Buttigieg as “nonsense.”

The presidential candidate was responding to comments over the weekend from South Carolina Representative Jim Clyburn, who told CNN that there was “no question” that Buttigieg’s sexuality was a problem for older Black voters.

"I know of a lot of people my age that feel that way," Clyburn said. "I'm not going to sit here and tell you otherwise. I think everybody knows that's an issue."

But Harris rejected that claim, speaking with CNN not long after.

“I’m never going to buy into that trope,” she told Wolf Blitzer. “I think it’s a trope that has evolved among some Democrats to suggest that some African Americans are homophobic or that there’s transphobia in the Black community as a community. That’s just nonsense.”

So we’re supposed to believe that blacks didn’t vote for buttplug in South Bend, IN? Blacks are a sizeable community there. D’s are D’s are D’s. I don’t believe we will ever witness a paradigm shift or exodus of blacks from the rats.

IMO, SHE IS COMMITTING ELECTION FRAUD BY TAKING EVEN A SINGLE DOLLAR FOR HER ‘CAMPAIGN. SHE IS COLLECTING MONEY TO RUN FOR A JOB SHE CAN NOT HOLD.

Yeah, repeat it all you want, in all caps. I even agree with you. But until you identify some body or mechanism to stop her, and convince that body to do it, it’s a mental exercise with no real-world effect.

Nobody knew he was gay. He came out as gay in his second term and only after he got the Dem nomination during the primary in 2015. He won the general in 2015, but compared to previous elections he underperformed in black districts. According to wikipedia, “Some of these precincts, which in 2011 had given him some of his greatest levels of support, gave him some of his weakest results in the 2015 election.”
