What if you live in California & there’s no electricity to charge these gizmos?
What if the mucky-mucks censor your links? Or shut down the internet?
Me, I prefer basic books & old timey hard copies. That’s why I print out my prepper reference materials.
Of course, if you live in CA, there’s fire.
That's why it's called prepping. You get the stuff and read it while the gizmos still work so you are ready when they don't.
I wonder if turning off the power in California has anything to do with seeing how the public will react to loss of power in a civil war situation
Kindles can be had relatively cheap and hold a good long charge. Thousands of books, PDF's and other reference files can be easily stored, and the device re-charged with a solar charger.
