Boo! Post your spooky stories.
My dog visited me a few times after she died. Twice, after working in the garden where she is buried, she followed me back into the house. I heard her drinking at her water bowl and a couple of very audible dog sighs like when she'd lay down.

Satan is thrilled that he was able to get Christians to worship him at least one day out of the year.
I picked up two books at Barnes and Nobel a few weeks ago. 101 Horror stories and 101 ghost stories. For old British spook tales they are good. A few typos so watch for them.
But if I really want to get a scare, POE and H.P. Lovecraft are the ones.
I got cussed out back in 1961 when I challenged a girl in High School, who made fun of me reading, to read the first story in the Lovecraft book I had. THE RATS IN THE WALLS.
She said she could not sleep all weekend because of that story!
Dreams in the Witch House is also a good one!
Horror story: Hillary and Bill are coming to stay with you this weekend.
LOL!
Hey, whoa, how about a little trigger warning on that one? I flashed on Obie and Mooch and the kidz getting out of the second car with Chelsea in tow. "Where's the candy, Drill? It better not be white chocolate, you racist!" Sure hope the heartbeat slows down some...
The day Trump was inaugurated I spent the night in the original Tombstone Az, bordello, billed now as a bed & breakfast, a stones throw from the OK coral.
Stayed there for the location, not looking for any kind of experience or believing I would have/experience one.
Long story short, 1:30 in the morning jumped into my clothes and grabbed my backpack on the way out. There was definitely something there and unexplainable that spooked the bejesus out of me enough to forfeit the cost spent and not stay.
Well you’re no fun.
my sisters brother in law died. The evening of the funeral his widow was giving the youngest a bath. The toddler stared off over her head, and said “bye bye, Daddy! Bye bye”. Thats pretty weird stuff.

I remember burying the “President Hillary” nightmare with a stake through its heart on Election Day 2016, thanking God that a clear and present danger to our Constitution was dead. Yet the nightmare followed me home, the Walking Dead, and it has continued to knock at my door and peek through my windows daily as more and more flesh sloughs from the corpse.
I’m not sure whether I need garlic, holy water, or a silver bullet to stop its perennial returns. If you think the democrats of our past three years have been unbearable, imagine how terrible those years would have been if Hillary had successfully stolen the election!
Scary stuff indeed.
To quote another Freeper’s tagline “Blessed be the young for they shall inherit the national debt.”
The most supernatural experience I ever had was when my wife was pregnant. She left our home for a check-up and to be told what sexy thew baby was going to be. She asked if I wanted to know otherwise she would not come home and announce it. I said, let me think about it and I will let you know when you get back.
After my wife left I was sitting on the couch in the living room, thinking about it and things. Suddenly I felt a poke, more like a quick press in the center of my chest and the word, in my own inner voice, in my mind, said “girl”. Or more accurately I got the thought “girl”.
I felt immediately that I was communicated to from “the other side”. Either from my deceased father or sister. Most likely my sister.
My wife came home all happy and beaming and asked if I wanted to know the sex of the baby.
I told her it’s a girl and she asked surprised how did I know...
...to be told what sex the baby was...
