Congratulations to the Washington Nationals on a great season and an incredible World Series. Game 7 was amazing! @Nationals
He got national exposure on his campaign ad thanks to his money and nation wide coverage of the game. Winning. Thats the name of the game, he makes me smile yuughly! Clearly the Nats team outplayed the Astros. Its why they play the game. :)
So, who won the series?
See ladies. That’s how you lose graciously. Notice, he did not try to destroy the MLB league? Sorry, but women in politics has been a disaster. Hope they grow to learn to advance country
Expos.
Amazing series! Every away team one which is never happened in the history of the World Series going back 130 years
The game tonight was outstanding Houston one out to a 10 and then to zero lead late into the seventh with the nationals scored three onto them runs and took the lead never to relinquish it again
Nats won 4 games to 3. Nats won two in Houston, lost three in Washington, then won two more in Houston. And every game was closely contested. It was a great series.
It sure wasn’t the Senators.
Or the Twins.
Or the Rangers.
Nor the Washington Nationals of the National League 1886-1889.
So, Washington DC appears to be toxic for the Nats!
Assuming theres a 50-50 chance of either team winning, the odds of this are 1/(2^7), or once every 128 years.
If the away team has a 47% chance of winning the odds drop to once every 197 years.
Could this be the Trump effect? Could his winning attitude have rubbed off of on them? Could this be a sign that the outsider (Trump) is going to win? Could it show that the facing elimination (Washington did it 6 times) means its time to win?

About what youd expect since 2 to the seventh power is 128. It is two orders of magnitude greater than Elizabeth Warrens native ancestry.
Wonder how that guy who bet millions on the Astros feels about now....
Glad they won, wish Frank Howard and Mike Epstein could have been part of it.
I sincerely hope that he doesn’t invite them to the White House...for obvious reasons!
With the Washington Capitals’ Stanley Cup victory in 2018 and the Nationals’ World Series title last night, the longest droughts for Washington DC based teams are now the NBA Washington Bullets/Wizards (1978) and NFL Redskins (1991).
Note also that this is the 50th anniversary of the “Miracle Mets” World Series victory in 1969 and this year’s World Series was won by a 1969 expansion team as the Nationals started out as the Montreal Expos that season.
Agreed. An excellent series.
High caliber play, some really nice moonshot home runs...
Team A could have more runs than Team B and still loose a seven game series.
