Monday, Oct. 28 11:35 p.m. ET: The World Series was off on Monday, but “Mattress Mack,” managed to keep himself busy. The Houston native who has at least $11 million in World Series futures riding on his hometown team flew to Nevada to bet more on the Astros.
With the Astros up 3-2 and massive -800 favorites to win the series, Mack focused his attention on the Game 6 price, betting two separate times on Houston to win at William Hill, both at -172 odds:

In addition to his massive pile of futures wagers (more on that in a moment), Mack has profited quite a bit off his single-game bets. Here’s a rundown of what we’ve been able to learn:
Won $584,615 on Game 5 of the ALCS Won $456,142 on Game 3 of the World Series Won $300,000 on Game 4 of the World Series Won $133,070 on Game 5 of the World Series Add it all up and Mack has profited $1,473,827, which is more than the $1.29 million he’s risking on Game 6.

Mattress Mac had a promotion where people buying furniture over a certain price at his store could have their furniture free if the Astros win the World Series so these bets are to offset his losses should his customers are able to get their bedrooms and living rooms for free.
Does he have $12M on the ump that just made that call of runner interference?
This makes me wonder about the profit margins on his mattresses. I’d stay far away from that business, personally.
