really sorry to hear this. I have 4 of them so I know where your heart is. After some time (and not too much time), get another. It’s not a replacement; it’s a great comfort!
Sorry to hear that, that’s like losing a child. I had to get one put down almost 16 years ago and I still won’t get one, it’s just too hard to say good bye.
condolences
Sorry for the loss of your little fur head, loss my dog back in June and I’m still extremely sad.
I cried for days when I had to put my girl down. Still tear up occasionally - that was five years ago.
BARF !!!
OK, now that I got past that fugly pic.
Sorry about Your Buddy, Prayers done for Y’All.
I had to bury one of our cats about a month ago. He was feral.
I’m surprised how hard it was to watch him pass and have to inter him. It was really hard.
I had to put down a dog and her brother died first of the month. I share your grief.
You have my sympathies. Cats are the best. You’ll see him again on the other side of the rainbow bridge. They have a soul.
Hurts like hell. So sorry. He was beautiful! What was his name?
What was his name?
My “tool cat” was a fixed female named Griffey. Had to put her down at age 17. She lived outdoors all her life and longed for me to come outside, get my tools and work on something. She would sit and watch and purr.
Like a good dog, she would hear my vehicle coming home 100 yards away and come a-runnin’.
I had to put my 18yr.old kitty to sleep last week, it was REALLY, REALLY hard and I will miss him also he was a very good boy!!!
;-)
Sympathy with your loss. These little critter gifts from God bring us happiness, peace, laughter, and sometimes frustration. For us "real humans," loss of one is a cause of real grief.
((Hugs)) It’s never easy to lose a fine animal. I’ve had many dogs but only ONE cat that I really still miss. Time helps. ;)
Gorgeous. A noble life lived indeed.
Hope you get another one in time. Never the same but still...such a blessing to have these creatures around.
Ping for later.
I've had to put down lot of dogs and cats over the years. And more recently calves that aren't going to make it. It's tough.
Sorry for your loss. Best way to get over it, is to go out and get another cat. :-)
“He worshiped my wife and followed her around”
sounds like a stalker to me s/

The Rainbows Bridge Poem
RainbowBridge.com
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
