Kansas State took advantage of 2 Oklahoma turnovers converting them to 14 points. One was a Oklahoma trick play that blew up in their face. Kansas State goes up 18 points and survives a furious OU comeback attempt. It appeared the Sooners recovered an onside kick attempt but replay showed an OU player touched the ball before it went 10 yards.

Kansas State rushed for over 200 yards and dominated time of possession.
OH
K State pounded OU. Good for the Wildcats.
OU should be out of all talk for a playoff bid now.
We played like $hit. I hoped that defense was dead and gone.
Au contraire. Schools like Oklahoma, Ohio State, Alabama and Notre Dame keep resurfacing until they get a second loss. Baylor now leads the conference since Texas lost to Oklahoma but Baylor has not played either Texas or Oklahoma yet. Congrats to Bill Snyder who routinely overachieves with the table scraps that come to Manhattan. I think he's retiring at the end of the season so knocking off a Top 5 school is a nice way to go out.
Snyder retired after the last season. The coach who won all those FCS titles at North Dakota State took over.
It was as if a different K-State team played the last 15 minutes. Also a different OU team.
I have always heard that the defense tires quicker than the offense but it so, just put in some fresh players.

Sadly (if you are not a S$C fan) though, that increased the likelihood hood of two SEC teams in the CFP.
You can’t lose to a non ranked team and expect to get in.
It is one thing to lose to an unranked team. It is completely another if you are totally dominated by them. Oklahoma will drop three spots in the polls.
That helps the Wisconsin Badgers who got raped by Ohio State, today. :(
I still love ya, Bucky!
“OU should be out of all talk for a playoff bid now.”
unless and until a slew of undefeated teams have a loss, there’s little hope ANY team with a single loss at this point will be in the playoffs ...
Having a new coach at K-State, beating Oklahoma is a good way to come in.
Thanks for the correction.
Hey, at least I remembered it was Manhattan. The CBS announcer just called it “Stillwater”.
But Baylor did beat Kansas St. 27-12 in Manhattan.
Diana,
I am sorry for your loss. As a True Ohio State Buckeye fan, I enjoyed the game tremendously after the second series in the 3rd quarter.
Our QB and RB were both injured and we pulled away in the end.
Sigh, I will sit here and admire my personally autographed Woody Hayes picture that I have had since the last century.
Maybe we will meet in the championship in Indy.
D
How does the song “On Wisconsin, we stepped on Wisconsin” or something like that.
Sorry. I got friends and family who are K-State grads. I was stationed at Fort Riley in the 60’s so I also have lovers who were associated with the program.
Cats!
