The President is never afraid to call a spade...a spade. He gets criticized, but YES San Francisco is a mess, and anyone who denies that probably can;t discern looking at their own genitals if they are male or female.

Well, he’s right. But it’s been going on for a long time. I lived in SF for about 10 years, coming and going to other places, in the 70s-80s. Even in the 70s I couldn’t take my kids down to the nice park at Civic Center Plaza because of the bums and junkies.
I went away and came back again about two years later, and then there was a tent city of “homeless” bums and junkies at Civic Center Plaza. For those who don’t know, that’s where the City Hall is located.
Between the feces and stench of urine, as well as the danger of what was practically an open-air mental ward with people shrieking, you couldn’t get in there. And they also took over the main library (at that time located there but now the building is part of the Asian Art Museum) and I couldn’t even take my kids there. I’d stopped taking them to the little playground long ago because it was full of needles and human and dog feces. The yuppie dog-walkers, big defenders of the lunatics, would let their dogs go in the playgrounds, and one of them one time told me, when I asked her why she let her dog “go” in the sandbox, was that her dogs were worth more than my children.
This was tolerated then and it’s only gotten worse. People hated it then, and they really hate it now...so why do they keep on electing people who promise them more of the same or worse?
Also, it’s true that Reagan, when he was Governor of CA, did stop funding for mental hospitals and release all of these people onto the streets. He wasn’t the first governor to do this...I believe NY led the way, after Geraldo Rivera’s nutty and manipulated Willowbrook documentary.
But with the mentally ill, there was a perfect storm: conservative (shortsighted) thrift, and leftist “the only truly sane are the mentally ill because capitalism has made them mad.” You laugh, but that was what the left was saying, and they then consecrated paranoid schizophrenics as prophets destroying capitalism.
Hey, it worked with Elijah Cummings. Maybe this gets San Fran Nan to keel over.
San Fransico is like third worldly from what it once was. Pelosi has no interests there regardless of what she says...she knows it’s a crap city.
Yet the price of a two-bedroom, one bath, crackerboard house in a decent neighborhood is $3.8 million. That doesn't include the RICH areas where Pelosi and Feinstein live. (Google) THEY live in homes which are worth three times the price of a "crackerbox."
How can that be with such a dip-sh** of a bureaucracy?
San Francisco is probably the most picturesque city in the world in terms of natural environment
it is run by complete morons that allow drug attic’s and dangerous people to run in the streets and poop everywhere
I will say however very clearly this is why we have states
different states can have different policies in terms of running Society and so on and so forth
the job of the federal government is to make sure that tgey obey federal lawFor example on immigration
