In what officials are calling a bizarre incident, an Arkansas hunter was killed by a deer that he thought he had shot dead...Thomas Alexander, age 66, who lived in the area and was an experienced hunter, was sitting in an elevated deer stand during the state's muzzleloader season..."It appears he shot the deer and he had put his rifle down near the deer stand and walked down to check and make sure it was dead..."

Suddenly, the doe reared back on her hind legs and punched the guy - bam-bam-bam - three times in the face with her front hooves.
Then, she dropped back on all fours, lowered her head, and bucked the guy like five feet straight up in the air!
The guy was bruised and bleeding, but still able to walk.
Since seeing that video, I give every wild deer I see a lot of space!
RIP.
They’re fighting back!
This time of year, the bucks get very aggressive. I always carry a handgun in the woods and after a kill shot. They might be playing possum.
I don’t expect you to read the mind of a Deer, but why do you think the Doe was attacking someone trying to feed her?
Was he not feeding her fast enough?
She acted as ungrateful as a Syrian refugee in Germany.
They say that when the buck came at him, the hunter looked like a deer in the headlights.
The story is not funny at all, until they get to the “still looking for the deer” part. One time our town police posted a picture of a black bear that was “wanted”. I laughed out loud.
Deer people fight back. It’s usually suicide attacks on motor vehicles. Now, direct attacks on hunters.
If it was a Whitetail, 200 lbs ain’t no slender deer...LOL
I was traumatized by Disney when I was 5 years old watching Bambi’s mother get shot. This story brings me a measure of peace about that trauma.
Double-tap. Its the only way to be sure.
Works for zombies.
Yep. I jog through a large country park bordering some large farms. I was crossing through a pasture and saw a big 8 point buck about 150 yards away. I wasn't trying to conceal myself and I thought I would just watch it. Then it saw (or smelled) me. It stopped, like all deer do. I expected it to bolt, but it actually started to creep towards me, like a dog/wolf. Then it charged. I quickly made it to the woods and some rock formations and didn't see where it went.
Joked with my friends, I could imagine the headline: Male Jogger Raped by Criminal Dear.
His wife had borrowed his truck because she had some kind of function to attend and needed to haul centerpieces or decorations of some sort, which necessitated that he take her VW Bug.
As the light was falling he saw a good sized buck, shot it and it collapsed. Because of the late hour, and not wanting to field dress it before putting it into his wife's car, he stuffed it into the back of the VW and started driving home.
Unbeknownst to him, he had only grazed the deer's skull rendering it unconscious, and it "came back to life" in the back of the VW on his way home...
Out in Washington or California, a news article said “authorities were searching for a motive” after a mountain lion attacked a woodland jogger. LOL
Sometimes the deer wins!
I’m rooting for the deer.
Turn about is fair play.
