Got this in My Junk E-MAIL this Morning. The first thing that caught My eye was the Alaska address to be removed from List. Then I checked the From:Wells Fargo Customer Bonus and found this E-Mail Address: adminvtnmf0o4H0@foodstraditional.com

That's when I called Wells Fargo. Verified it's a Phishing Scam. They had Me Forward it to: phish@wellsfargo.com.

Just though I would Post this Warning.

I got a Fake E-mail yesterday. It said it was from Fox News. About a supplement that speeds up ketosis.

But the actual sender was Fox News fox.news@sluttybbw.com

I was halfway tempted to click it. But nope. Was at work. My work email address. I knew better.

lolol

I haven't gotten one yet from my WF Banks, but here's another one going around: WARNING SCAM NOW COMING OVER THE PHONE: "Hello, this is an apology call from your gas, water and electric utility company, and we overcharged you over the past few months. You're eligible for a sizeable rebate check. All we need is your name, birthday, SSN and utility account number; simply press 1 to get to an agent to get your rebate check. Bottom line: your gas, water and electric companies are separate company entities and don't issue joint checks for so-called mistake billing. From my Phone Call Logs, I called the number back and got a guy who knew nothing about it all, and I warned him that his number was being used to propagate a scam, which is a Federal Wire Fraud felony. WATCH OUT FOR THIS SCAM TO HIT YOUR PHONE!

At least you were getting a bonus. Three days ago I got a text on my cell phone telling me that my Wells Fargo account was suspended due to fraud.

I have never had an account with a bank in my life. I always have used Credit Unions.

I have also received e-mails from other “banks” shutting my account for fraud and one actually threatened me about referring me to the Federal Investigative Bureau. Whatever that is.

The quickest way to determine if an email is phishing is to hover over one of the links in the email. Your browser will give you the link value, usually in the lower left hand corner of your screen. You’ll see it’s nonsense and has nothing to do with the supposed sender.

Also, do not open any attachments to a phishing email. Surely trouble if you do.

Examples from phishing emails I’ve received recently (address/supposed sender):

tienphongmarathon.vn/wp-content/fluentl.php DHL
pdox.codal.io/shockerj.html FedEx
megevanie66.ru/wp-content/themes/pledgesel.html American Airlines
www.dena-eng.com/antagonisticr.html Google User Support
jakethijabersindonesia.com/wp-content/uploads/wrigglerck.html Linked Account
psychqatar.com.qa/omenseq.html Qatar Airlines

kansisector.gisagara.gov.rw/wp-content/uploads/2019/spanishizesf.html USPS
