I suspect that the mother is doing this to her child for the social attention it garners for herself.

I suspect that the mother has a form of Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy, a psychotic disorder in which parents (usually the mother) make their children sick (sometimes seriously ill) to get attention and sympathy for themselves.
Either that or the mother is just a garden variety narcissistic bitch.
One has to wonder if the mother, who is a physician, is self-medicating.
His wife who is promoting this transgender BS is actually a pediatrician and well known in their local community. She must be absolutely insane to be pushing this on her own son.

Pretty amazing the things I’ve seen in my lifetime. Piston powered flight to walking on the moon, assassination of a president an equality icon a presidential candidate, the personal computer internet and smartphone, and now the end of civilization brought about by academia and communists.
I have seen this twice with children no older than two. The idea that these children are making this decision themselves is absolutely insane and should indeed be mental abuse.
That seems to be the latest libtard trend. Children are merely “props” to indulge mentally ill adults. In a saner time, the Mom would have been told to get a cat for this purpose.

Still, at least he’s trying to stop this abuse of his son.
As much as we rightly distrust child and family services, intervening seems like something they should look into.
