A cute cat called Cinderblock appears to be taking things easy while completing her workout on a special treadmill.
The cat from Bellingham, Washington state who is morbidly obese, is now on a weight reduction program, which involves an underwater treadmill in order to shed the pounds.
But the clever kitty appears to have found a way to avoid getting on all-fours and in an adorable video shot by her vet, the cat simply taps away at a passing treadmill.

I’m in love! He is adorable.
Whats the point of immersing the treadmill in shallow water? Especially when a cats involved?
That’s a Russian Blue. They’re from the very northern reaches of Russia, Arkhangelsk, 1000 kilometers north of Moscow. They look fat because their fur has two layers to insulate them, but they also do get fat because that’s a survival necessity in their native habitat.

Okay, just looked it up. The tank is normally used full. This cats getting off easy in more ways than one.
I can has cheeseburger meow?
She sounds like someone I know.
Use the laser pointer multiple times a day.
This is overkill.
Buoyancy. Makes it easier to support your own weight and move around and puts lets stress on the joints.
I am guessing they are slowly introducing her into being in water by using just a small amount to start with? Especially since most cats usually don’t like being in water. Perhaps the plan is to add a little more water with each therapy session? One of my previous dogs benefited greatly with underwater treadmill therapy. He had bad knees.....using this therapy helped build up his leg muscles without putting extra stress on his injured knees.
I think they intend to flood the glass cube, forcing the cat to sink or swim........
This cat looks like my Princess. She’s almost as fat, too.
Works for people, too. :-)
It also helps, if you can afford it, to buy healthier cat food. Not all cat food is created equal.
Mine say “meow”, I supposed to not feed them?
I kinda felt bad for Cinderblock, looking all sad and forlorn and using that one paw to “exercise.”
