A Florida man has been arrested after catching a peeping Tom outside of his window and beating him to death.
Victor Vickery of Delray, Florida, faces a manslaughter charge in the death of 57-year-old Asaad Akar in the incident that occurred in July of last year, according to ABC's Miami affiliate WPLG.
Vickery was getting intimate with his girlfriend in a bedroom in her Fort Lauderdale home, according to the arrest report obtained by WPLG, when they heard a scratching noise coming from outside the window.
Vickery went outside to go and inspect the source of the noise and allegedly found Akar standing partly naked by the window.
A fight then broke out between Vickery and Akar while Vickery's girlfriend called the police.
Akar, who allegedly had a previous criminal record for prowling, was taken to the hospital after the altercation but died in the hospital from his injuries less than two hours later.

Well, you would have to take into consideration that Asaad had beaten himself pretty good before the fight.
The peeper was already beating himself, the peepee was trying to stop him and it resulted in accidental death to the er not the ee. One of the rare cases where being the ee worked out better than the er. There are two types of people the er’s and the ee’s A wise old E-9 told me that and “ I’m an effer and you sonny are an effee, now swab the damn deck like I told you. It may be clean but I want it cleaner”. Back to ee’s and er’s again.

He told his girlfriend to lie to the cops and to say she hit the guy in the head with a shovel, charming fellow. He has a history of domestic violence, car theft , etc. The girlfriend has had restraining orders against him before. Don’t worry honey, he’ll be away for awhile. Suggest you move while he’s in prison.
Being a Peeping Tom or beating up someone to the brink of death for being one?
I thought both were illegal.
I should mention that the ER vs EE rule changes rapidly and “The sun don’t shine on the same doggies butt every day”. As the USMC says Improvise, Adapt, and Overcome or relax and be an ee.
I did not see manslaughter in headline.

I would not vote to convict.
I would give him a medal.
NOW, in a court of law, a jail term of 10 -20 years would be reasonable, but you have to make it to court. If your victim beats you before the cops get there in a fit of rage- too bad.
Simple minds like yours see this as the only other possible outcome.
True. Unfortunately it doesnt prevent legal actions against you, or stop a DA from bringing charges if they desire.
