In answer to the first one, they once had to postpone an execution because the three drugs the use for the lethal injections had passed the expiration of their use by dates. . .

Why do you Drive on a Parkway and Park on a Driveway?
Oh, and a judge put all execution on hiatus until the drugs could be proved to be Safe and effective by FDA standards. . .

How come Noses run and Feet smell?
As the woman said to Samuel Johnson, the lexicographer, “Dr. Johnson, you smell!” To which he replied, “No madam, I stink, you smell.”

Why after 12 years of crimes committed against the American people no one was indicted prosecuted or jailed

In answer to the first one, they once had to postpone an execution because the three drugs the use for the lethal injections had passed the expiration of their use by dates. . . So, did they postpone the execution, because they thought the drugs wouldnt work as well as they were supposed to, or because they drugs would work too well? 😁

4. Who knew what time it was when the first clock was made?
It was noon when the sun was to the south, and therefore at its highest point during the day. The Egyptians divided the day into twelve more or less equal parts, and later extended that to night time as well. Telling time at night was almost easier than during the day. They relied on the decan stars, which not only marked the seasons, but also the hours.

They postponed the execution because they could not rely on the drugs to do their work humanely. I believe the convict is first anesthetized into an unconscious state, then muscle relaxants are administered that prevent breathing. After a short while the muscle relaxants are no longer needed to prevent breathing.

Maybe they should never have done away with the Guillotine. It was quick, and worked every time it was tried. To keep it humane, they just needed to keep the blade sharp. 😁 Or, they could just Gary Gilmore them. 👍 I guess, to keep that humane, they should aim for the head. Its all over in a fraction of a second.
Then, the other side of the argument is, they are trying to kill the dude. There is nothing humane about offing some guy. 👎

They say, “Time flies,” but you can’t—they pass at too irregular intervals.

The first use of the electric chair was grotesque. Lawyers have argued that convicts exhibit painful death throes from lethal injections.
Dog pounds use nitrogen asphyxiation. Painless and safe for prison staff, no toxic materials merely biological waste. Giving the convicts knock out drugs to ease the transition is fine with me.
