First, the national security implications of getting to the bottom of these incidents are beyond obvious. In addition to posing a serious collision risk, determining the nature of the objects whether benign, easily-explainable phenomena or potentially threatening is of critical importance. Indeed, by some accounts, such incidents are occurring with increased frequency.
Moreover, advanced, physics-challenging technology would be the Holy Grail for any nation. Given the anti-democratic and authoritarian inclinations of some major world powers, it is imperative that such capabilities fall into the right (i.e., democratic) hands.
Among other possibilities, a civilian-led quick reaction force could be established to rapidly assess such incidents, some of which occurred over several days. Second, without venturing into the debate about the causes of global warming, there can be no doubt that earths climate is undergoing tremendous change. The Midwest witnessed multiple 500-year floods in the span of a few years; powerful hurricanes fueled by warmer waters have battered the eastern seaboard; unprecedented wildfires have devastated the West Coast. Businesses expect to lose $1 trillion due to climate change in coming years, of which the last five were the hottest ever recorded.
With researchers examining how clouds can be manipulated to combat climate change, the remote possibility of acquiring technology that allows for indefinite flight time at extreme speeds deserves particularly close scrutiny.
Third, CDR Fravor argues that if he and the Navys sophisticated sensors observed the same phenomenon, there is a good chance that the technology he witnessed could move effortlessly through water, air and space at extraordinary speeds. In the event that such capability exists, mere knowledge thereof should prompt a fundamental shift away from humanitys baser priorities in favor of loftier, nobler objectives.

Note well: “Eyewitness” accounts cite to an article written in 2001. By which time, the “tale had grown in the telling”
Do your nieces know that every time the climate has been warm life flourished?
Warm Earth. Dinosaurs everywhere, even arctic areas.
The Amazon basin? Life flourishes.
The jungles of Africa? Life flourishes.
Southeast Asia? Life flourishes, despite bombing the living crap out of it!
The tundra? Not so much...
“No one would have believed in the last years of the nineteenth century that this world was being watched keenly and closely by intelligences greater than man’s and yet as mortal as his own; that as men busied themselves about their various concerns they were scrutinised and studied, perhaps almost as narrowly as a man with a microscope might scrutinise the transient creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water. With infinite complacency men went to and fro over this globe about their little affairs, serene in their assurance of their empire over matter. It is possible that the infusoria under the microscope do the same. No one gave a thought to the older worlds of space as sources of human danger, or thought of them only to dismiss the idea of life upon them as impossible or improbable. It is curious to recall some of the mental habits of those departed days. At most terrestrial men fancied there might be other men upon Mars, perhaps inferior to themselves and ready to welcome a missionary enterprise. Yet across the gulf of space, minds that are to our minds as ours are to those of the beasts that perish, intellects vast and cool and unsympathetic, regarded this earth with envious eyes, and slowly and surely drew their plans against us. “

No, that's why their govt has them disarmed.
No civilian pilot sightings?
There have been plenty of civilian sightings and probably plenty by the AF.
This Navy thing appears to be what the DOD has decided on as a means of disclosure...and it is coming out in dribs and drabs.
I'm not saying that the DOD's purpose is ultimately to disclose their contact with UFO's. They (the DOD) may have some other ulterior motive (like misinformation or a head fake to keep a current opponent like China back on its heels).
But whatever is going on, this UFO (and Unidentified Underwater Object) "disclosure" program is progressing apace.
There is a lot more to this story....
This book is a calm and well documented discussion. Chapter 4, Crisis and Containment, 1952 and 1953, explains the full context of the sighting and the reactions of .gov.

To ask .gov to investigate UFO sightings is like asking wolves to guard the hen-house—_nothing_ good will come of it.
“They still havent figured out this oneand the UFOs rubbed .govs noses in it”:
And mainly happened on the weekends. I guess that’s when the aliens are off work.

Translation- kiss the 21’st century goodbye, and say hello to third world living conditions-
"Hell yea boy, you can launch rockets....."
I'm 17 minutes into that video and it's great!
He sounds like a good ol' boy genius........
The authors pathetic attempt to connect these sightings to climate change is downright insane, laughable, stupid, off-the-charts, stark raving moonbatery......With researchers examining how clouds can be manipulated to combat climate change, the remote possibility of acquiring technology that allows for indefinite flight time at extreme speeds deserves particularly close scrutiny.
In other words, by breaking the laws of physics, which is typical for UFOs: flying at thousands of miles per hour without sonic booms, making sudden right-angle turns, crashing and causing destruction without leaving debris. These are real but not physical. They are demons, who have temporarily left their demonic realm (as the Bible documents in innumerable passages).
Foe a scholarly study by a Christian astrophysicist who has personally investigated thousands of UFOs, see Lights in the Sky & Little Green Men: A Rational Christian Look at UFOs and Extraterrestrials.
...And strangest of all is it to hold my wife’s hand again, and to think that I have counted her, and that she has counted me, among the dead.
Idiots. The aliens warm the planet after we kill it by sending it back into the ice age. Why they keep doing that is unknown. Leave the Earth in an Ice Age ! It is much quieter for us cave dwellers.
I find it suspicious that all the on line articles list him as a "space technology expert" but all such articles are UFO related.
There's also references to his "many patents" but yet none can be found thru my extensive searches for same.
What sealed it was at the end of the video where he said he spent an uneventful fall, winter and spring of his senior year only to be whisked away on his graduation day by undisclosed individuals and "forced conscripted" into the navy..............Yea, right. That happens all the time........
It was a good story tho and wished that it were actually true, unlike many of his followers who believed it was true.......
I guarantee there is no extraterrestrial technology involved. If anything, it’s technology kept secret by the US government.
Glad you posted this. I was going to cite the book myself.
