See how much quicker all this happens when the cop is a man killing a woman, rather than a woman cop killing a man.
Hit a nerve, didn’t I?
Choke it down cuck.
If he thought it was his houe he’d be looking at ten years out in 5.
We need to wait for all the facts. Looks like this cop was really negligent but watch this video. If I had been the cop in this video I probably would have been killed. You only have split second decision time , good training and the grace of God.

A wellness check... not a burglary call.
He was trespassing unannounced and shot a person in their house.
He needs to go to jail for a long time.
Please stop. There is no such thing as second degree murder in Texas. Every one on here giving advice about what it is or isnt is ignorant of Texas law.
Wrong. Learn Texas law before you try to educate everyone.
Texas does not have degrees of murder, we have murder and capital murder thats it. Murder is the unjustified intentional killing of another human being period that’s it no other qualifications are needed. By pointing a gun at someone and pulling the trigger the average reasonable person takes that to mean you intended to kill them full stop end of sentence. No thought prior or after is needed. Homicide is reserved for negligent actions of which pointing a gun at someone and willfully pulling the trigger is NEVER negligent EVER. The only way to beat a murder charge in Texas after shooting someone is to prove it was justified and in this case NOT even remotely. He should get 99 years and also a charge of oppression by position for another 25. Captial murder is the only charge that requires intent or depraved mind, regular murder requires willful actions that are known to cause death and shooting someone 100% is known to cause death he is done as was that lady cop both are.murderers under Texas law don’t like it well don’t live here we like it just fine fry this guy.
Not.
Last time I checked, this is still a free country. If you want to play video games in the middle of the night in your own home, it is not a crime. Maybe her nephew couldn't sleep. When I can't sleep, I sometimes get up and play solitaire on my computer to get sleepy. Whatever the reason, she didn't deserve to die for doing nothing illegal in her own house.
Why would you think there was something "wrong" with her? She didn't do anything wrong. The cop did.
These cops were supposed to be checking on her welfare because a neighbor called and was concerned.
Shooting her dead through an open window without ever knocking on the door to check to see if everything was okay, is not a welfare check, it is murder.
Maybe 2nd degree murder or even voluntary manslaughter. But they failed to do their job properly and this poor woman is dead because of it.
Don't try to place the blame on the innocent woman. The cop was the one with the gun and he killed her. What was wrong with HIM?
the shooting was a negligent and idiotic and a horrific mistake.....
a horrible mistake.....
some are playing semantics because Texas has a specific verbiage for murder.....
so call it what you want.....it was not a action closely resembling what I would call 1st degree murder in historical and widely used definitions.....
Wrong. Not in Texas. Stop trying to superimpose what you think you know the law is (or what it may be in your state). In Texas, you can be charged with murder even if you didnt mean to kill anyone at all. You dont know our laws-obviously.
Reasonable people do not "perceive" armed citizens as threats. Tyrants, OTOH ...
Cops need to get it throught their damned thick skulls that We the People are armed, and they work for us. They keep up with the murders, they won't like the response.
Attention cops: CLEAN UP YOUR ACT, while you still can.
You live in California this is Texas murder here doesn’t require premeditated action at all. Thats our law any willful action that results in the death of a person is murder period full stop. Pointing a gun at some and pulling the trigger is a willful action and unless justified is murder here as the lady cop found out and EVER CHL needs to think about that when they pull their gun. Unless you can justify pulling that trigger you WILL go down for murder only capital murder requires depraved mind and thats only to get the death penalty. Homicide here is ONLY for negligent actions and pulling the trigger is never ever negligent it is always willful. I am a 11 year LEO vet in Texas this is bread an butter for us ignorance is no excuse.
Please learn Texas law, we don’t have degrees of murder we have did your actions intentionally kill someone or was your actions negligent and they resulted in someones death. Prior thoughts not even admissible in court. Murder is the willfully death of a person that’s it shooting someone has tome and time again been held as willful that’s all TEXAS law cares about. We don’t care about what your state says the only way to get down to homicide is to prove your actions were negligent and pointing a gun at someone and pulling the trigger has never ever been held as negligent. I’m a LEO vet amd consult as a pistol instructor for CHL classes I have a hard printed copy of the Texas penal code on my nightstand so I’m gonna stand by keep you states laws out of my Texas we handle things fine here.
“some are playing semantics because Texas has a specific verbiage for murder.....”
If the shooting occurred in the State of Semantics, you would have a point.
However, these even occurred in the State of Texas.
Hey, race baiter. The Houston victims weren't Black or even POCs. https://reason.com/2019/07/26/no-one-will-hurt-you-a-swat-officer-promised-an-hour-after-houston-cops-killed-a-couple-falsely-accused-of-selling-heroin/
Here in Texas we don’t care about what you think or our semantics according to you what we do have letters of law and here in my great state we don’t care about degrees of murder as we don’t have them at all we have murder which carries 5 to 99 and we have capital murder which carries life to the death penalty the only difference is depraved mind. Murder is the willful action that causes death of a person period end of story we don’t care if you thought about it for a year or not at all that’s our law don’t live here if you don’t like it. Shooting someone here in Texas by purposely point the gun at them and pulling the trigger is willful by definition and as such the ONLY way anyone cops or not can point and shoot is if it is a justified shooting and wr have legal definition of that as well. This cop now has to prove to a jury without doubt that his shooting was justified or he will get 5 to 99 as required by our laws we don’t care about what others think about degrees or historical precedence we have our laws they are clear and well documented.
I wasn't trying to say I knew Texas law. I don't even know what Florida law is where I live with regards to killing someone.
I was only making a general comment. So nobody on FR can comment unless they are from Texas and are a former LEO? Get off your high horse.
You don't have to get your ire up over it. You act like my comment was a personal slight to you.
