I was going to say “100 films and I never heard of him?”
Then I spotted this: “Forster also recently played Tim Allens father in Last Man Standing” and said “Aha! So THAT’S who he is.”

Holy crap I just watched him in a new Netflix movie that I won't name (spoilers).
He was great in it too.

I really enjoyed him in Jackie Brown. When I hear the Delfonics, I think of that film. Probably my favorite Tarantino flick.

He also played a convincingly evil jihadi in Chuck Norris’ “Delta Force”. That would be politically incorrect on several levels now.

I just rewatched Jackie Brown a couple weeks ago; Mr. Forster was excellent in it.
This sucks. RIP.

Never heard of him until Jackie Brown. I wouda gone with her(in the end) to Spain. Did they do it in the flick? Hard to swallow Samuel Jackson with the no brain Fonda girl-if that’s who she was.

I thought I remembered him from a horse opera or two. But it turns out he was too young for that era.

He looks Greek in that photo, but I don’t think he was.
Some folks make a career out of character acting.
They give up having their name at the top of the marque, in exchange for getting more work and more exposure.
If he worked with director John Huston (Angelica Huston’s father), he must have been impressive early on.

My fave of his was one of his earlier films, Medium Cool, filmed in real time as the 1968 Democratic convention was going on. Very much a product of its times (non-linear, improv, etc), but worth watching for a great performance by RF, and an interesting cameo by a young Peter Boyle as a firearms instructor.

This was the second Pam Grier leading man to pass away recently, the other being Sid Haig (who had a surprise guest appearance as the judge in “Jackie Brown”).

Saw him in JB and a dozen others if I could just remember title. That’s why when someone dies I post the filmography easy way to remember and actor.,
