Ilhan Omar did the same thing by marriage. Why hasn’t she been prosecuted?

Good, wonder if he is close buddies with the new liberal extremist Maricopa county sheriff? I see he was not involved in the arrest.

“Lynwood Jennet was also named in the indictment. Additional information about Jennet was not immediately available.

Petersen is in his second term as assessor following a special election victory in 2014 and re-election in 2016. He served nearly eight years as the assessor’s office representative to the Arizona Legislature and as the agency’s public information officer.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety, Homeland Security Investigations and the Utah Attorney General’s Office were involved in the arrest, officials said.”

A Democrat? The article didn’t identify the suspect as a Republican. Does that mean he is a Democrat?

I agree GOOD, especially if guilty of these horrible crimes! Something tells me they had their ducks in a row before pulling this trigger and he won’t be squirming out, but I will wait to see the facts before I decide.

I was just cursing this guy without even knowing it, just got my property tax bill and it jumped from 840 to 1738 in one year!!
Was not totally his fault, mostly stupid voters... it was almost all voter approved school funding or that is what the back of the tax bill claims anyway, I suspected it might have something to do with the Red for Ed agreement that happened too.

Currently, in addition to serving as a county elected officer, Assessor Petersen serves as the President of the Arizona Association of Assessing Officers (AAAO) and Past President of the Arizona Association of Counties (AACO). He is also serving as an appointee to the National Association of Counties (NACO) Finance, Pensions, and Intergovernmental Affairs Committee and to the International Association of Assessing Officer (IAAO) on the Legal Task force. He is an active member of the Maricopa County Republican Party, the Arizona Republican Party, and a precinct committeeman in Legislative District 25.

Arizona official charged with human smuggling in adoption fraud

I wonder if Chief Justice Roberts gets a little nervous each time he sees the term "Adoption Fraud"?

Yep, you are in a blue county and this is what blue counties do. It will become unsustainable at some point and you will see a lot of boarded up windows because of tax costs if something isn’t done about it and changed. Most the folks who voted for these do not own real property so they didn’t care how much it costed property owners. Property owners should stop renting as a protest, and just write the loss off their income taxes. Let them eat that for a year to see how much they actually benefited. kick them out... The liberal voting renters will have to buy or leave.

Republicans love human smuggling. Just ask the Chamber of Commerce.
