A side note:
The Superbowl taught me something about life:
It started when I was in fifth or sixth grade. Because I remember a time before the superbowl, I always think of it as that “new” bowl game.
Heck, I still think of the Kingdome as “new” and yet they tore it down about 20 years ago.
I went to grade school in Anaheim, CA in 1963. You could see the Materhorn from my bedroom window. There was an orange orchard across the street from my school. I drove by there in 1998 and not only was the orange orchard replaced with an industrial development, but it was showing signs of age that made it look like it had “always” been there.
