All of the NBA's official Chinese partners have suspended ties with the league as it grapples with the fallout from a team manager's controversial tweet about Hong Kong.

NBA China lists 11 wholly-owned Chinese companies as its official partners in the country on its website, all of which now say they have halted business with the league, according to a review by CNN Business of company statements and social media posts. CTrip (CTRP), China's biggest online travel website, said Tuesday that it "dropped all NBA-related tickets and travel products" from its platform. Mengniu Dairy, one of the country's top milk producers, vowed to suspend "all commercial cooperation with the NBA."

And which basketball league takes their place?

On a more ominous note, what about all the Americans playing in the Chinese NBA?

This isn’t about basketball, it’s a power play by the CCP from Beijing.

China would exert harsher punishment if they could.

It’s all about the black vote. Somehow Trump will be blamed for this.

Western companies have cracked under pressure to fire non-Chinese based employees who have been protesting or said things the CCP has not liked.

Hate NBA. Never watch their games. College basketball rocks. Luv March madness.

People think that “The Great Dictator” was a rarity, Hollywood suits opposing a film because it might hurt Hollywood’s ability to export product to Hitler’s Germany.

Last night Laura Ingraham had an interesting segment about China and the NBA. She was pretty torked off about NBA siding with China and communism instead of Hong Kong and liberty.

And so many of the players claim to be Muslim and China loves to round up Muslims, then beat and starve them.

You’d think the players would be striking because of China’s involvement.

Not even close. Just one GM with one tweet supporting the Hong Kong protestors. No big stand, no kneeling. Just a person paying attention to what’s going on in the world and having an opinion. Problem is that opinion involved a country that’s very twitchy about... well everything really.

Now, about 200 NBA employees work in China in offices in Beijing
and Shanghai. Games are streamed live and Chinese media cover all
the league’s biggest events such as All-Star weekend and the NBA
Finals. The league has played preseason games there for years, has
three NBA academies in the country – designed to find the next star
prospect – and big-name players go there every offseason to promote
their brand.

No surprise that the NBA would side with the ChiComs.

Look at the Democrats.

Obama has said not one thing is support of the Hong Kong protesters and neither has Hillary or any of the Democrats running for president.

All the Democrats are silent in their support of Hong Kong.

The same league that was willing to endure hurting the brand for the “kneelers” are now concerned the brand will be hurt by people advocating for freedom.

No kneelers in the NBA. Stern codified that rule a long time ago. And really they don’t seem that concerned now. Silver is standing by people’s right to expression. No punishment coming down for the GM.

“The NBA should cancel all goods orders ,NOW”

99.9% of those items were made in China. China will just counterfeit them
