SMH
That’s why unlike most around here i’m not ready to call the GREAT President Trump the greatest in my lifetime.
The Great One saved America from falling off a cliff and freed hundreds of MILLIONS of people. And their kids. And their kids’ kids.
Trump IS great.
I’d rather not rank the two.
They are two of the GREATEST presidents.
And sorry things were so tough!!
I was 8 and didn’t have much responsibility!!
Wow you’re right
Carter calls Trump a lair if Trump so much as says his name.
Carter was so bad as president that it is a shame. If he were smart, he would go quiet and stay back in obscurity. That way he would keep embarassment at a minimum.
Carter needs to worry about his own soul. I remember a parable about planks of wood, camels thru the eye of a needle...He’s close to meeting our Maker and should be prepared, himself.
JC was an abysmal excuse for a POTUS.
The true answer to “was there a shortage of oil” is that it was an artificially created “shortage” because of Carter’s bumbling attempts at regulating prices. Suppliers were sitting on the supply waiting for the huge profits when the time was right. Carter managed to create shortages of just about every commodity you can name.
Oh great, Carter’s awake again. WHO woke him up?
It’s still debatable who was the worst President - Carter or Obama. Carter did so many stupid things - like giving away the Panama Canal and almost giving away South Korea.
The American people are not as stupid as you think, Jimmuh.
Donald Trump is an honest man in a pit of vipers.
My old man was a builder. He was right in the middle of building the first ever townhouse community in Minneapolis. At one point he only sold two units in two years during the Carter years. And of course the money that he had borrowed to build the project was also at a high interest rate.
I recall coming back from the site with my dad and we dropped off by the bank. Both me and my dad went up to see the president in our work clothes (I was 15 or so). My dad thought it would be a good experience for me.
Anyway - he told the president something like “And don’t worry, I’ll have the payment check to you on Monday.”
The president, who my dad had worked with on all of his projects, chuckled and said “Oh - I’m not worried Bob. I know you’re worrying enough for both of us!”
I’m not sure how my Dad did it. At that time his partner quit the project, so dad assumed all of the liability and risk. Of course at the end, once it was completed years later, he reaped the rewards.
good story, lots of builders went under then, it was very tough.
I loathed him before. I loath him all over again.
Ole Jimmy boy really means, tell the truth when we quote you out of context to make it look like you lied.
