The true appeal of the new "Joker" movie lies in its invidious validation of the white-male resentment that helped bring President Trump to power, writes Jeff Yang for
The only thing missing was the Joker missing the Antifa hoodie and a mask.
He didn’t work.
He lived with his mom.
He relied on government assistance.
He wanted more government assistance.
He hated the rich.
Everything these guys say or write about is somehow related to Trump. He has truly driven the chattering class to distraction.
This movie surely would have been made no matter who was president. I wonder what pajama boys like Jeff Yingyang would have said about it if clinton were president.....
I know I’m not seeing it.
But, for those who want to, go ahead. Knock yourself out.
Film directors like Quinton Tarrantino didn’t become rich making movies about the Secret Lives of abandoned Goldfish. There is a market for this kind of portrayal. So be it.
TDS is a real mental disorder. I actually wrote to the American psychiatric association asking them to classify it as such but got no response.
Here’s their website if anyone else wants to try...
And a way to contact them......

White-male resentment. Who is helping to foment this if not white liberals who hate white people.

Funny. I read all the previous Batman graphic novels including Killing Joke etc. and he wassn’t any of them..he was a genius in chemistry and had above intelligent abilities that’s why he fight evenly with Batman. If you were a moron, you wont last long agains a super hero.
Unlike Bernie who stayed home until his 40’s, the Joker worked during the day during his “sane” days.
CNN is fake news!
Last night, CNN was hand-wringing that this movie might cause another mass shooting.
Like they would actually blame the movie for it anyway if it happens
I’m amazed they can’t see the parallels of the angry mob and the ‘occupy’ movement and antifa with their ‘eat the rich’ leftist mentality.
Damn right Im resentful of people taking
from my taxes with their anti-meritocracy
being founded on abuses of parties
unconnected to me
Trump speaks of the pompatous of love, but some people call him President Maurice.
The clown protesters held signs reading 'RESIST' and things about 'fascism'. They were all chaotic losers, too. I was surprised to se that because it's not that often Hollywood allows the loserdom of leftism to show.
The movie FRANKLY struck me as an indictment of the occupy/antifa types ... resentful losers who readily accept (and need) a mentally ill leader.
That's very shallow analysis a couple hours after seeing it. No idea what the good and bad critics are saying.
I saw it too and the clown crowd reminded me of antifa anarchists. One spark is all they needed to go all destructive and insane just like the antifa we are familiar with.
I guess the moral of the story is the antifa jokers are nothing more than crazy clowns on lots of street drugs.
:-D
I found it very very very interesting (and encouraging) that they were protesting with signs saying 'RESIST' and 'DOWN WITH FASCISM.' It was a very deliberate choice what those signs said (and certainly that's not what was being protested back during the time of the movie - or at least not in those terms.) Having the signs say that was the equivalent of Hollywood calling the lefties of then (and now) ... bad, looney, mentally ill.
It's of course CORRECT ... but very odd in a good way to see that come out of Lefty-Wood.
That’s probably why they have their panties all in a bunch about this movie.
Bonus: Di Niro gets shot dead in the movie. Heeeeeeee... Not very Christian of me to say so but he’s been a real jerk the last couple of years and it was just pretend dead.
Now I won't get that song out of my head until I hear something else...
;)
