Key witness in trial of killer cop Amber Guyger shot to death
A key witness who testified for the prosecution in the trial of killer Texas cop Amber Guyger was shot to death in an ambush outside his apartment, according to a report on Saturday.
Witness Joshua Brown, a neighbor of Guygers victim Botham Jean, was found on the ground, his body riddled with bullets, Friday around 10:30 p.m. outside his building in a Dallas neighborhood, The Dallas Morning News reported.
He was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital, where he died from his injuries. There was no suspect information available.

Yep that is what the criminal cops want. Just like the Deep state
I didn’t follow this as closely as you but a witness assassinated with a lot of bullets and possibly shot in the mouth certainly sounds like a hit and maybe related to testifying.
Watch the shield.
Until Obama I laughed at anything that smacked like a conspiracy theory. I now believe This man was murdered by cops to send a message that they are totally above the law and that Government has now become our master.
The NKVD has finally taken shape in our Country.
“”where he died from his injuries””
I don’t know why bullet holes would be described as “injuries”....it’s not like he fell down the stairs, did he?
And Waco.
Both times.
Many years ago I got off the elevator at my apartment building and walked to my apartment. It was late at night, and I was quite tired. To my surprise, my apartment key didnt work. Then I realized I was on the wrong floor. I was trying to open apartment 504, not my own apartment, 404.
I teach at a university building that has identical floor layouts over four stories. It was about three weeks into the semester and I was supposed to teach at room 408 on the fourth floor. By that time, I never even looked at the room number...I just knew where the room was. Well, I got in the elevator with a bunch of other students and half of them got out on the second floor and the rest got out at the third floor. I just thought I was on the fourth floor because the elevator cleared out. I automatically walked into room 308 without checking the door number and started unpacking my whiteboard pens. Just then the actual teacher for the class walked in. We had a big laugh about it.
Fast forward two years and I was assigned a room on the third floor and a teacher walks in, sees me, then looks at the class with a confused expression. I immediately said to her with a laugh "You're on the wrong floor!"
It happens. I can understand it happening in the apartment complex if the floor layouts were the same. Yeah, a red welcome mat might stick out in the daytime if you're paying attention...but if it's late at night and you're tired from a long shift...who knows?
At a minimum I think she was reckless. You couldnt let her off completely. First degree murder seems excessive for this and so does the sentence. But I doubt shell serve the full sentence. Will probably eventually have the charges downgraded.
Who here has by accident gone to the hotel room one floor below or above your room? Thankfully, the key doesn’t work when one does that. This has happened to me a few times, and I was sober, yet very tired from a long day’s work.
She admitted on the stand she was going to kill whomever was in that apt. On the 911 call her primary concern was she was going to lose her job. And she did a little cpr.
Yep. Walking to the wrong classroom, apartment, hotel room, etc., can’t be uncommon.
Once I was given a key card to a hotel room that someone else was already sleeping in.
Another time, I was standing at a sink in a ladies’ restroom when a man walked in, saw me and stopped, looking shocked for a moment. Then he must’ve noticed the absence of urinals. We both burst into laughter.
I have no sympathy for this woman. But I can believe she walked to his apartment by mistake. Walking to his apartment by mistake wasn’t the crime. Shooting him was the crime.
If this was premeditated, why would she call 911 on herself and risk life in prison?
It wasn’t “first degree” murder, Texas has no degree rating.
She shot an unarmed man, in his home. That’s murder.
That bright red mat glowed in the hallway on the cops’ body cams. No way she missed it.
Yes, if you’re smoking pot, its the windows that are open, not the door.
Why was he a witness for the prosecution instead of defense? Something smells.
Maybe each door could have a wreath or other ornament. This is often done at retirement communities. It seems that more than just senior citizens would benefit from such personalization.
That hug made no sense and neither did the judge giving her the bible. His mama wasn’t in such a forgiving mood.
Find the video of the cops’ body cam going down the hall. It’s eye opening. Now way that mat would be missed. Even a blind man wouldn’t miss it because he’d have to stand on it and realize it wasn’t his door.
So little cpr that she didn’t have any blood on her uniform or shoes. The now dead neighbor said he saw her going back and forth in the hall and talking on her phone.
NKVD?
I lived in an apartment in downtown Dallas for 20 years and yes way you can mistake your apartment if you park on a different level than normal. I did it a few times, thank goodness the door was locked and I realized my mistake when the key didn’t work. It happens all the time.
