My old 'Back Forty' at my other farm. (1905) (South Central Wisconsin) It's not nearly as gorgeous in the Fall at the 'new' (1900) (SE Wisconsin) farm because we have mostly Burr Oak, Black Walnut and Evergreens, but there's a splash of color here and there and we have a lot of Birch and Poplar, so the white/gold with all the Evergreen is pretty. This was in 2011, a year Mother Nature got everything perfect. :)

Great photo, Diana!

We picked our last tomato this week.
Paprika and Reza peppers are still setting blossoms.

I’m overwhelmed with paprika powder—maybe five years worth.

Beautiful picture. I first saw Burr Oak in Oklahoma last year. Friends with a ranch have some enormous ones. The acorns are gigantic, outer shell is almost like wood.

Fantastic picture. The garden here in Idaho is done. 27 degrees this morning. Fall has arrived. I moved 2 earth boxes with cherry tomatoes into the sun room, they’re still putting out tomatoes. Everything did good after the June 20th frost so I’m not complaining. It’s been a great gardening thread, learned a lot and enjoyed the stories and recipes. Thanks to all.
