“oh yeah honey I was right there when...etc etc...and you say I never pay attention to you. “
I’m not even married and I know there is no winning argument/explanation. Drink yer beer, take yer lumps...
Where did that useless sluggard get to? He’s supposed to do the dishes.
They were hotter than the old Rip Stops.
At least during the first gulf war they ran out of American Chemical Warfare suits. We were issued British ones prior to spending three days in MOPP4.
And that’s the way the couch sags... haha.
That'll blend in well at the soda aisle.
But you will be more obvious to the fantail watch when you go overboard and are bobbing in the ocean, at least, during the day.
That pic was great.
Have too look hard to see the guy.
And maybe lava flow operations.
fantail watch log: 1300 hours, someone threw an orange soda can into the ocean.
” Uh I was doing the laundry...”
The US Chemical suits weren’t fun to wear in that heat. I got ripe after a couple of days.
Now there’s a whole new military manual.
MOLT: Military operations in Lava terrain.
Gonna be a one pager with one word: Don’t.
If only Anakin Skywalker had worn this orange camo on Mustafar....he might not have lost an arm and 2 legs! :)
I never understood the need for aquaflage. It’s very expensive about a hundred and twenty bucks plus boots. I always thought the chambray shirts and bell bottom seadawgs were more affordable and in keeping with Naval tradition.
But seriously, who would want to fall overboard in the open ocean and be camouflaged from Rescue assets? It makes no sense. Absolutely no sense whatsoever, except perhaps keeping up with the Joneses.
At least the Coast Guard went with somewhat of a SWAT type Tactical blue rather than some corny “flage” pattern.
Which is why I've never bought a car or truck in that, or a silver type of paint scheme. It's literally urban camouflage. I'd rather other drivers be able to see me easily against the outdoors background.
As a USMC officer, I had both Whites and Dress Blues. The Whites were sharp (I have a great photo of that hot babe, Mrs. BN, holding our daughter while standing next to me in Whites as I received my Wings at Pensacola), but the Dress Blues are the best!
Babe Magnet!
Dungarees and chambray shirts with names, ranks and rates stencilled on, not those silly flapping patches. Oh, and blue working jackets.
