I know a lot of people who seem unable to finish sentences. It drives me insane.

I fear for our future.
As the article points out - the person is distracted by their f-ing phone or whatever with the cute cat video, etc.
I know adults that do the same thing with messaging. Yes - their messages are important, but I think finishing one’s sentence or several sentences is more important than stopping mid-thought to check a text message. Really annoying.
If I’m talking to someone - anyone - and my phone rings I ignore it. “Um - aren’t you going to answer that?”
“No - I’m talking to you right now. I’m sure if it’s important they’ll leave a message.”
