Perhaps the people that identify as democrat or “liberal” today don’t realize they are the frogs in the pot - they are well on their way to goose stepping and reporting on their friends and neighbors for saying the wrong thing about certain demographics, or using the wrong gender pronoun, or failing to enthusiastically support the agenda of the party. Perhaps to be really “woke” would be to wake up and realize today’s liberals are in fact everything they claim to be against.
