When their new $110,000 car arrived from Chicago, it had undisclosed damage. The case highlights the difficulty in dealing with the companys secretive arbitration system.
The detailer found paint overspray and sand marks on the rear bumper and flaws on a rear quarter panel.
The Nagers demanded a new, undamaged car, which Tesla refused.

"Oh no! There is not a mark on my baby!"
There is no overspray allowed in the factory???

He takes his now five-year-old baby to MR BMW for complete tech inspection. At first sight, Mr BMW, says I remember this car! Hans the Kanuz service master, just had to take the hot new car for a ride and hit a curb!!!
The car had other minor issues, my friend is a physician, not a gear head. It had a slight wheel imbalance at speed and slight pull to the left. He always took it to Knauz, they told him the must have hit a curb or pothole!! New tire for the new car$$$ he paid!!! When that did not repair it , they told him it needed a new wheel $$$$ CRAZY MONEY, he paid! They adjusted the alignment, then it pulled to the right!$$$ He paid, that was the last time at the dealer.
There should have been NO RUNOUT! Blued, screwed and tattooed.
They should have bought a Challenger. Butt they probably went with tesla to help save the planet.
I guess I’m missing something. The purpose of a Tesla is to be able to hold one’s nose up and TALK ABOUT IT, and how great it is for the country and the future.
As long as the car looks new and clean what’s the difference if it rides like crap, since it’s not intended for that purpose? I certainly wouldn’t agree to give them a dime if they abused that car by trying to actually drive it.
If I had 110K to spend on a car, it wouldn’t be a Tesla.
BMW, Audi... Overpriced poorly and overly engineered German money pits and some of the crookedest dealers and mechanics in the universe.
And the quality problems of Tesla are legion. However nothing can get through the virtue signaling and snobbiness of the owners.
Ha ha. Perfect. Pretend someone stole your puppy look.
LoL - where’s my tiny violin?!
Car companies have done this for ages.
Small damage (not wrecked) and before it is sold they repair it and then send to dealer.
MY wifes Camaro SS was this way. One day washing the car noticed a weird haze on rear quarter.
Turns out is must have been scratched or small scrape before sent to dealer or maybe even at the dealer and the blended in the paint sun caught it just right so it was noticeable.
Took it to a local paint shop..yes it was repaired at one time..but not by us.
What a steal. If I do that I will drive hell out of it. Every day.
I don’t trust any new or used car sales person or car dealer basically at all. I also don’t feel sorry for some rich doctor who figured out that his new $110,000 Tesla had a minor imperfection. Half or more of new cars have some kind of defect, and it used to be worse than that. New cars are not perfect, that is an unrealistic expectation, the good doctor probably just didn’t notice the issues with his other new cars. That is just one of the reasons you are typically better off buying a three year old car for about half the price. You expect something to go wrong, but typically the problems were ironed out by the previous owner.
I dont care much if one bunch of liberals screws a liberal couple.
That’s Nagers. Not Naggers.
Ha ha...a couple of libs got jobbed.
If I had $110,000 to spend on a car, it wouldn’d be a car.
Ha ha ha. Sadly, that's not terribly far from the truth.
My first thought when it said Chicago & I saw the picture of the couple was.....dear lord, $100 to a dime these people voted for Slick Willie twice, Obama twice, and Hillary (possibly twice). They look like a caricature of uber virtue signaling leftists.
My second thought was, TFB. Being a virtue signaling progressive is a poor substitute for brains and common sense.
My third thought? It's gotten very difficult for me to give a damn about most things that happen to progressives. I'm sure in someone's book that is wrong, but that's what they have done to me.
I’d bet she’s a nagger.
Tesla salesman should have known these two would be trouble after learning their last name.
If I had that to spend on a vehicle I'd have a garage with a basic Hyundai and a half dozen nice motorcycles.
