I think you’re likely right! Now that you say “old books”, that is what I am seeing.

Am I just easily swayed? Argument for books is that the sizes vary. I would expect gold bars to be more uniform. But now that I’m looking closely, I also see dividers between the books/bars. Maybe it’s something else altogether. What’s up with the dividers? They do not look rigid. They look sort of like a file folder folded into a U-shape.
