Published on Sep 23, 2019 Trump Considers Releasing Ukraine Transcript Causing Speculation About "4D Chess." Republican Trump allies have added to the choir of Democrats calling for transparency in Trump's dealings with Ukraine amid the Joe Biden and Hunter Biden scandal.
But if it was the case that Trump abused his power to go after political rivals why would they entertain the idea of releasing the call transcript. Why would Trump even admit to the call when it turns out the "whistleblower" wasn't even actually a whistleblower.
The news stories have begun shifting to Biden and what he was accused of. Its a complicated story but may actually be a big nothing burger. Ukrainegate may just be an inverted Russiagate.
But perhaps that was the intent. Republicans and Trump using this scandal in the same way Democrats used Russia against Trump. In the end I'd assume the transcript will reveal nothing and nothing will come of the Biden story.
Meanwhile, Trump's base won't care and moderates are burned out by 3 years of Russia collusion nonsense to the point where even if there is something bad for Trump revealed no one will care, many won't believe it. Democrats have cried Russia so many times that only the "resistance" will likely be motivated by any of this news.
But in the end it gets the media to resurface the allegations about Joe Biden and certainly the far left democrats are enjoying it as much as Trump.
If Trump did this, and I am highly skeptical of that, it might be about more than Biden. Ukraine is closely tied to the DNC/FBI/Hillary et al coup on the candidacy and presidency of DJ Trump.

I don't think he did or would need to go to that extreme. For all we know, it may be the Dems who leaked it because they feel the need to pull him off the stage. They and the MSM all KNOW that Joe publicly admitted to committing this misuse of office, and they knew who authorized him to do it. They know they must put a plug in it before it goes any further.

I don’t see the need to smear Biden. Biden’s endless gaffes are already accumulating into a mountain of damaging campaign ads against him. And his fitness for office (i.e., his declining mental acuity) is already under scrutiny, even in his own party. Biden is already on the road to elimination so why go to such lengths to smear him? Doesn’t make any sense.
It’s all possible.
But; undoing or uncovering the non-Biden shenanigans in the Ukraine would primarily impact the conviction of Manafort; who was convicted of long ago pre-Trump money laundering activities. Neither of us can know whether Trump knew about that stuff when he signed Manafort onto his staff, but I’d suspect that Trump would not go too far out on any kind of limb for Manafort. Manafort could have some stinky money laundering activities in his past. As for what the revelation of info would for the FBI/FISA coup effort, my feeling is that’s too far back there to be dredged up to any great effect. There is much more recent and closer to home info about to be revealed (hopefully) by the IG.
The Biden/Ukraine connection is profoundly more overt, meaning open and shut. And, that confession/brag by Biden in front of the CFR is damning. The law regards spontaneous confessions as among the highest-levels of evidence.
The flavor of the Trump/Ukraine issue depends mightily upon wheher there was a quid prop quo in terms of foreign aid withheld/released. I don’t think you or I can know the particulars at this point.
But if Trump is the de facto source of the leak, IMO it’s a stroke of brilliance.
FWIW I lean more towards a Warren/Hillary hit to make sure Biden is out of the picture.
Could the IG FISA report be about ready to drop? Dems might be trying to lay down some smoke cover....
Chuckie Schumer is demanding a Senate investigation into the “whistle blower”. Mitch Mcconnell should agree with one stipulation, Joe Biden and his son are both brought in and put under oath to answer questions about this whole matter. Dems will freak out, but so what. Let them be the ones who torpedo the investigation.
Joe Biden and his son’s business was old news....kept Joe out of the race against Hillary.
I’m sure the Iranians value Kerry’s advice. Iran seems to be the middle eastern agent in the world wide DS effort to stop Trump. I would assume Kerry was the brainiac who negotiated the $1.8 billion pallet of cash bribe.
