Some schools, yes.

Other schools check your home brought lunch against "nutrition guide lines" and take it away from you if it does not meet them.

Not sure. But the wookie obammy mammy is to blame for that farcical lunch. Could be worse. You could be in Sweden wanting to home school your kid.

Some schools don’t allow it, some remove items they don’t approve of from home lunches.

It is crazy out there.

Yes, it reminds many of the other pupils that they don't have loving parents who bother to prepare them a homemade lunch. This is what is now known as a "micro-aggression." The children with homemade lunches must be forced to "check their (White) privilege" and eat the same slop as everyone else.
