Other schools check your home brought lunch against "nutrition guide lines" and take it away from you if it does not meet them.

We had not much money growing up. Mom made our lunches for school when we were young and then we packed our own.
A steady rotation of bolgna, tuna and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with some carrot sticks, apple or an orange.
All of us grew up healthy but once grown and buying my own food I have been know to splurge!
