A former Ukrainian prosecutor general is speaking out after Vice President Joe Biden forced him out of his job. Speaking to ABC News, former Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin said he has “no doubt” Biden wanted him gone to help protect Hunter Biden’s employer.
At the time, Shokin was investigating Burisma Holdings while Biden’s son Hunter was on the board earning as much as $50,000 a month.
“Biden was acting not like a U.S. vice president, but as an individual,” he said to ABC News, “like the individual interested in having me removed — having me gone so that I did not interfere in the Burisma investigation.”

The two ended up hosting a joint luncheon that an aide recalled was held at McKinsey & Company, a prominent consulting firm, while he was in the Bay Area. The photo was taken afterward.

The fact that ABC is finally interviewing the Ukrainian prosecutor on a story that conservative media broke long ago is one more sign that the media are turning on Biden. If he were still the clear front-runner, they wouldn’t be touching it. Biden is now deemed expendable, perhaps even unwelcome on the Democratic stage.
“Hunter was supposed to be advising them on natural gas regulatory issues. He has no background in Ukraine. He has no background in energy or natural gas. So the question is, What is he being paid for? He’s not being paid for his expertise, he has none,” Schweizer said. “His father at this time is the point person on U.S. policy to Ukraine.”
