I understand it perfectly! I am in what was one of the most Republican counties in the country when I was growing up...It went to Clinton last election :( Not by a lot, but Dems have moved in and changed the demographics.

Quite true. If anyone’s around, we speak in whispers. “I support Trump, too,” after looking around furtively to make sure we’re not overheard. I’ve never seen one Trump hat or bumper sticker around here. I never thought I’d be in a situation where I couldn’t come out and admit that I support a duly-elected president, for fear of being beaten or losing my job, but that’s the truth of it.
