I understand it perfectly! I am in what was one of the most Republican counties in the country when I was growing up...It went to Clinton last election :( Not by a lot, but Dems have moved in and changed the demographics.

There are still many of us, but as I told my daughter this election, I won’t put a Trump sticker on my new car—don’t want it keyed, egged, toothpasted or in some other way vandalized in some parking lot...

We went to San Clemente, CA last week. Lots of American flags flying in the neighborhoods above the beach. Incredibly friendly people too.

We took a wrong turn and ended up at the gate at Camp Pendleton. When I told the marine that I was thankful for his service, he had the happiest grin.

Buy a thousand-pack of the stickers, and put them on half the cars in every parking lot. There's no way the libs can key/egg that many cars! (Bonus points if you stick on a car you know is owned by a full-blown flaming lib!)
