Another thing that’s interesting to me is that when Brennan left office, his deputy also left on the same day. This has never happened before - Director & Deputy Director leaving at the same time.
My guess is that the derps always make sure they have the top 2 spots, so that if one guy get axed or indicted or whatever, the backup derp is in place and ready to go. POTUS/Q knows this and the plan has been very careful to rid the swamp of both derps so that the backup derp can’t continue with the derpiness.
I think you are correct, the second in command when a derp is head, is also a derp.
