So, I'm thinking that whoever doesn't like BBG doesn't like us having a weekly thread that helps to give some of us a moment away from the troubles and trials and personal tribulations we may be going through.

(EG - I had a long rant and diatribe typed out about my recent trials a la Job, but removed it all due to how unbelievable and depressing it sounded.) Let's just say, BBG is the least of anyone's problems.

So, in that honor, I present "Static Hair Girl", or SHG, from now on.

Denver at Green Bay 1:00 pm FOX Lambeau Field The Joe Flacco Era is not off to a good start in Denver. Granted they were robbed last week but nonetheless, they lost. And the Pack at home is just ... very good. Packers.

Cincinnati at Buffalo 1:00 pm CBS New Era Field Don't look now but the Bills are 2 - 0 and the champs of New York. And now they get the Bungles at home. Bills.

Detroit at Philadelphia 1:00 pm FOX Lincoln Financial Field It's only Week 3 and a little early to say this is a must win,, but when you get a mediocre team like the Lions at home, you gotta win. Eagles.

N.Y. Jets at New England 1:00 pm CBS Gillette Stadium Like Christians to the lions, so the Jets to the Pats at Foxboro. Patriots.

Oakland at Minnesota 1:00 pm FOX U.S. Bank Stadium The Raiders have shown some spunk post AB. And the Vikings.... can't figure them out. Kirk Cousins seems to find new ways to lose. But the Northmen simply have more weapons. Vikings.

Baltimore at Kansas City 1:00 pm CBS Arrowhead Stadium The Ravens are off to an impressive start, but they are stepping up in class against the Chiefs. And although Lamar Jackson has looked very good, I don't see how they score enough to knock off KC. Chiefs.

Miami at Dallas 1:00 pm FOX AT&T Stadium The Phish are what, 22 point dogs? They got that number for a reason. Cowboys.

Atlanta at Indianapolis 1:00 pm CBS Lucas Oil Stadium The Falcons are just three seasons removed from a Super Bowl and still have Matt Ryan and Julio Jones among other options. Thats enough. Falcons.

Carolina at Arizona 4:05 pm FOX State Farm Stadium The Panthers struggles will continue and the Birds get their first win of the season. Cardinals.

N.Y. Giants at Tampa Bay 4:05 pm FOX Raymond James Stadium I think the Bucs have enough to stop the G-Men and Dan Jones in his first NFL start. Bucs.

Houston at L.A. Chargers 4:25 pm CBS Dignity Health Sports Park Dignity Health Sports Park? What is that?! Anyway, this could be the game of the week. Chargers to pull it out late. Chargers.

New Orleans at Seattle 4:25 pm CBS CenturyLink Field No Brees no win in Seattle for the Saints. Seahawks.

Pittsburgh at San Francisco 4:25 pm CBS Levi's Stadium It's shaping up as a lost season for the Steelers and the end of an era (the Big Ben Era. And probably the Mike Tomlin Era too.). That will be even clearer after Sunday. Niners.

L.A. Rams at Cleveland 8:20 pm NBC FirstEnergy Stadium After all that preseason hype the Browns have not exactly stumbled, but they haven't looked like contenders either. Whereas the Rams are kinda middle of the road too. In the upset I'll take.... Browns.

Monday, September 23, 2019 Chicago at Washington 8:15 pm ESPN FedEx Field The bottom quartet of the league - Miami, New York Jets, New York Giants, and the Redskins. And the this is what we get Monday night?! The Chicago D is gonna feast. Bears.

you made the right choice in baltimore... they were embarassed by the chiefs last year, not again.

The Ravens lost to the Chiefs in KC in overtime last season. Not exactly an embarrassment. And now they get the Chiefs in KC again? It's not right to have away and away games against a strong team like the Chiefs.
