The focus of Friday night football games should be on our students the players, cheerleaders, band members the focus should not be on politics, Stanly County Schools said. Meanwhile, NY City schools are organizing and permitting 1 million students to take a day off for "climate marches."

Remember all the kids that got into trouble for posing with Obama signs? Oh wait...almost forgot. It’s only against the rules when it’s a Republican sign.

A high school cheerleading squad in North Carolina was put on probation Monday for posing with a pro-President Trump banner at a football game.Maybe the first thing they should have said to these people, was, Ill see you in Court. And then do it. It may or may not make any difference, but it might put them through some changes.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

Went to Chick-Fil-A on Saturday ... one of the kids running the drive-thru was wearing a dark blue MAGA hat.
Told him “nice hat”.
Guess CFA has a different attitude from those $#!+birds in NC.

District officials said the policy against political displays on campus or school events does not prohibit students from speaking their minds or engaging in protected First Amendment activities. The First Amendment include the right of peaceably to assemble, which is what the cheerleaders did.
The District officials likely also violated the 14th amendment. The District officials abused the rights of the chieerleaders and should be removed.
