Having eaten dog (S Korea) and cat (Hong Kong/Kowloon) ...
Dog was unimpressive, cat was disgusting. You can ban eating them, no loss.

Doesn’t make sense. UK “Asians” are SE Asian muslims and they won’t touch a dog much less eat one. Don’t know about cats but I would think there’s no attraction there either.

I was taken by friends to a small family restaurant that probably dated back to the 1960s. It was mostly an older male crowd, drinking significantly. Definitely belonged to a past era.
