All those empty seats for the Saints/Rams game is surprising.
That's no scrub game.

Never a fan of Roethlisberger.
Drew Brees out 6 wks due to thumb injury.
Looking pretty bad for the Felon League.
I hope the NFL goes belly-up and those ‘talented athletes’ find something a bit more useful to society to make a living with. Like washing cars & driving forklifts.
Bradshaw’s career ended pretty much the same way.
He tried to come back, I remember his last game, he looked great, then the elbow flared up and he never played again.
Luckily for New Orleans, they’re in a weak division, they should be fine.
Damn. That looks like Marlins game.
Well Tua is most likely going to Miami, Pittsburgh needs to draft a QB next year.
Or a Heat game, or a Panthers game.
Indulgences will not keep patriots from mocking you for what you are supporting on a slow news day, however.
Agreed, great guy like Tebow. Kirk threw the game away with a late interception in a crowded end zone. There’s a reason they’re trying to run more, like in the game last week where he threw for only 85 yards.
Yea, there were injuries and all that. But this was a team loss. If they were at the Linc the boos would have been deafening - and justified.
If they don't destroy the Lions next week the criticism will become even worse.
And btw, among the evils in my life that I support, such as using Uber or shopping on Amazon or watching a sport where I pay zero directly to the NFL, I'll take football (though hockey season is almost here...).
I pretty much now just watch the highlights on YouTube, if I’m interested in a game. I still follow the NFL as a business, but I haven’t even watched the last few Super Bowls, which I had never missed up to that point. It’s not the same NFL I grew up with.
TV coverage is much better today.
The A’s are always fun to watch, and more often than not they have a winning record.
Gotta give them props too: they are working on a new ballpark that would be PRIVATELY financed.
I’m rooting for the A’s.
Prime intellect there.
I wasn’t aware of the privately funded park.
I guess the only thing you could really add to the existing park is covered seating for the upper decks.
In the summer, it can be quite hot and the affordable seats are in the sun.
Having said that, I really don’t see a need for a new park for the A’s, and I guess I’m a little surprised they want to build a new one.
To rent a two bedroom house in Oakland right now is $4300/month. Their proximity to SF is helping them clean up things. Yep, gentrification for sure.
They’ve got a decent mayor in there (Jerry Brown, in actual point of fact, was a VERY good mayor for Oakland and was the starting point for turning that city around).
I know people who lived in the Minnesota town where Jesse Ventura was Mayor. They say the same things about him.
I guess some people should just never run for any office higher than Mayor.
The more empty seats, the better.
