I remember one, I think it was on the Ed Sullivan show, where it was done live. When he stopped the outboard and checked the prop, the watch was nowhere to be seen.
Only slightly flustered, he said, “Well, wherever it is, you know it’s still ticking.”
Holy crap! Is there anything that is not on the Internet? That was the commercial I remembered!
Gotta hand it to Swayze for ad libbing his way through that. Ah, yes, the wonders of live television.
