Which was ok. If you reproduce by the time you are 20 then your children are ready to take over by the time you hit 45. You even have a few years to enjoy your grandchildren.

We evolved in a pre-agriculture environment, as hunter gatherers, primarily eating animals. That's the biology we evolved with.
Generally speaking humans have been less healthy since they invented agriculture, despite the fact that agriculture led to civilization and wealth.
