I was driving in my F-150 down the main drag in Morristown, NJ around 8pm last night. A door of a car that is parked on the side of the street opens. Out pops El Heffe Shamu! Chris Christey!
It was in front of all the restaurants. He must have been hungry.
True. Story. I guess it makes sense because he lives in Morris County I think. I am surprised he was driving himself. I guess he isn't rolling like the big dogs like Rush Limbaugh and Donald Hump (I mean Trump)!
His kid used to play hockey next door in Morris Township.
He’s basically a good guy. I read his book on the 2016 election. Kudos to CC for taking on the mob in New Jersey as a US Attorney.
That said, a little arrogant to celebrate Independence Day during a State government shutdown. He needed to stay in Trenton like when Trump stayed in DC, until shutdown was resolved. Let the family celebrate without him.

Rush and Trump work for their earnings. The fact that they enjoy their work and just because they make a lot of money does not mean they don’t work.
Trump takes no salary from the taxpayers. He’s working as president pro bono.

His house in Mendham is quite nice. My sister lives nearby and knows his wife, Mary Pat, who got me an autographed photo from back when he was still governor. I loved how Christie took it to the teachers union. That said, my sister begged me off of leaving some highway cones at the end of his driveway a few years back.
I believe Christie opened his own law firm last year. Might be logging a lot of hours and stopping for takeout. At a net worth of supposedly $5 million, that’s not in full-time limo territory, especially in expensive areas. He’s been known to use commuter trains.
