Horrible. And we don’t need nasty remarks, such as I have seen below.
If you saw photos of that place, this is very believable. I live in a hurricane area of the South and after you’ve been hit by a storm, your house has been either wiped out or made uninhabitable...you can’t imagine how it feels. Probably in this case, many of their neighbors and their family members are dead.
I’m not defending looting, but it’s a problem even in the US, although it’s not necessary here and is just criminal. In the US, help will come and people aren’t looting to feed or bring water to their children, by any means! But for a lot of these islands, help may not come for quite awhile, and thanks to the left and anti-Christianity, their civilization actually broke down a long time ago (which is why no visitors venture outside their resorts).
So I think we need to be a little less harsh. The Brits and the US and other places connected with this area need to supply food and water and medical - and burial - materials, bring out as many police or troops as necessary to protect people, but let’s admit that this is a bad situation. It was obvious from the photos that more than 30 people died.
A man in South Florida just sent 100 generators there a day or two ago. People from S Florida sail or go there all the time to dive or fish, and I’m glad to see some support.
And then there is the infamous Looter guy stealing beer.
I read about that and am skeptical.....
If true, what will be used for fuel?
US help was there before the hurricane hit. Too bad, we’ll be seeing a repeat of the Puerto Rico water bottles not being given to the people.
