Did she actually FIRE that anti-aircraft gun, or just pose on it to turn her little commie buddies on?
From what I understand, she was posing. That and giving all kinds of Aid and Comfort to the Enemy.
Additionally, I have read reports that she was given a message on a scrap of paper by one of the POWs. The report continued to say that she turned over that note to her handlers and that they put a severe beating on the POW who dared to get a message out of that camp.
