FOOD KITS FROM U.S. PROGRAM TO FEED “VULNERABLE” SYRIANS DIVERTED TO TERRORISTS

A multi-billion-dollar government program to feed “vulnerable” Syrians has provided food for jihadist militants in a group designated by the United States as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO). American taxpayers have spent a fortune on “emergency food assistance” during the Syrian crisis that began with the 2011 Arab spring and some of it has actually gone to terrorists that hate us and want to kill us. The Al Qaeda affiliate is known as Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham and it aims to establish a regional Islamic caliphate, according to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

Since 2012, the U.S. government has provided Syria with nearly $3 billion in emergency food assistance, approximately $1.8 billion to help “vulnerable families” inside the country and more than $1.1 billion for “vulnerable refugees in neighboring countries.” Uncle Sam took action after the United Nations (UN) declared that 11.7 million people inside Syria need humanitarian assistance. Of those, the leftist world body said 9 million require emergency food assistance to meet their basic needs, including 6.5 million people facing “life-threatening food insecurity.” The famously corrupt U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), which has a monstrous budget and little oversight, handles the money and doles out cash to groups, mostly non-governmental organizations (NGOs), that provide food.

The groups are known as partners and they receive money from USAID to bring flour to bakeries, ready-to-eat rations to newly displaced populations and prepared food kits throughout Syria. Some of the USAID-funded food kits have been purposely diverted to terrorists, according to a federal audit of the program. Investigations by the USAID Office of Inspector General (OIG) have uncovered numerous instances of confirmed diversions to armed groups in northwestern Syria.

Why are we feeding anyone anywhere in the world? We’ve been doing this for decades and we’re always held up as America a horrible, racist warmongering country.

Why not poison the next shipment? Of course have someone covertly in place at the intended destination in case that shipment does not get diverted.

Ho-Hum. WHAT does this country expect? For our ENTIRE giveaway history, money, cash, equipment only enriches our enemies, despots, hostile Armies and creates governments we eventually fight. I’d hate to be as stupid as a GD politician.

Al-Qaeda has always been a CIA affiliate. This includes its various offshoots such as ISIS.

If you knew this back then, then you knew the supplies we were dropping allegedly for democratic rebels were going to the Islamic terrorists working in concert with Hillary Clinton, John Brennan, and John McCain.

Absolutely nothing new here. This type of aid has always had significant portions diverted to the “Islamists”. Same old, same old.

Ah, when our military has delivered food to disaster stricken areas we have helped millions, usually after natural disasters, the food and aid goes directly to the people that need it.

Jesus said we who did good in his name would be hated.

It’s of no significance what some call us.

It IS significant when the food and aid go to our enemies.

That’s what Blackhawk down was all about. We tried to take out a warlord that was grabbing everything that was being sent for the civilians.

And they turned on us like vultures.

THAT we should not forgive and that’s why DIRECT humanitarian aid is the only kind that should be given.

Like after the tsunami way back in the early 2000s, I think it was

After the Rwandan genocide, when the Tutsis managed to regroup and beat back the Hutu murderers and chase them into the jungle of Burundi, the Clinton administration decided to atone for their fatal inaction by sending food aid (thru the UN) to the displaced....HUTUS!
You read that right. We were feeding the very people who perpetrated the massacre to begin with. It was kind of amusing at the time to read of aid workers' complaint that their clients behaved like dangerous savages.

Which of course, they were. And still are.

Yet another example of the wisdom of the Prime Directive.

In the fictional universe of Star Trek, the Prime Directive (also known as “Starfleet General Order 1”, “General Order 1”, and the “non-interference directive”) is a guiding principle of Starfleet, prohibiting its members from interfering with the internal and natural development of alien civilizations. The Prime Directive applies particularly to civilizations which are below a certain threshold of technological, scientific and cultural development; preventing starship crews from using their superior technology to impose their own values or ideals on them.

Happened during the apostate obama’s administration.

probably known about way back then, but then they didn’t do anything to stop or prevent enemy seizures - because it was just badly implemented with the buck stopping on obama’s desk.

What did obama Know and when did he know it, and why didn’t he do anything about it ???

‘Greatest’ president the islamists ever had ?

It happens in the USA, too. Louisiana for instance. FedGov sent millions if not billions to build up the levy but it was pocketed by corrupt politicians. William Jefferson and School Bus Nagin.
