Exactly. As if Americans are so Heartless that it never occurred to a restaurant owner to give away free food to homeless poor before. This will not end well because in a country with almost zero percent unemployment people are homeless because they have mental issues. They will scare away customers and/or spread the word to their fellow homeless overrunning the restaurant. It won’t end well.
What the heck. They don’t deliver?

Sadly; grifters take advantage of the most well-intentioned acts. But she's young and has to learn. May her other actions through charitable organizations bear fruit.
I'm just remembering fondly a Starbucks manager we had in our community years ago. She used to bag the many pounds of spent coffee grounds they went through every day, for people wishing to use them to enrich their garden soil. It was very useful around here because it is a deer repellent.
Unfortunately, corporate stepped in and she was soon gone. If you're hard up or stingy, you can still get a passable cup of joe out of once-used grounds. So it had to stop.
