Two back to back high pressure fronts approaching from NW which will weaken it as it steers it.

This won’t moderate the media’s hyperbolic coverage one bit. They are all in on the hyperbolic coverage.
I have 2 weeks of food and water and I’ll be filling up the gas tank today.
Though I’m probably out of the storms path since I’m in Arizona.
If I lived there, I suspect the only choices for me would be to decide quite a few days before the storm arrived that I was either going to stay in place or to leave and go somewhere way inland (like Tennessee) until the threat was over.
Could it end up in the Gulf of Mexico and reforming in those warm waters? That’s a scenario that never goes well.
Yup. That’s why it’s best to ignore them. They are into the drama.
I think they'd be satisfied if it hit Mar a Largo head on. As it appears may be the case.
Yup. And check out the later maps, 3 day and up, which shows where they may be around the time it hits.
I doubt they will push it into the atlantic before FL though.
They say this every hurricane.
If I lived there I'd have a generator, fuel for a week, Plug in AC, etc.
If it bleeds, it leads.
commence the climate change howling
Gives my daughter a reason to come home to Indiana for a visit.
Niece in Charleston doesn’t take any chances anymore with 3 little ones.
They’ve been there and done that and didn’t like it
This is the time to leave, before everyone panics and tries to evacuate on Sunday.
Then the roads are jammed, there's no gas, and people are trapped on the highway, having to ride out the storm in their vehicles or somewhere where some kind soul might be willing to give everyone shelter.
If a week’s worth is enough.
Niece in Charleston found that out a few years back
I’m in Indiana and keep those things on hand here too
If this storm indeed turns into a monster it’s going to be a real test of the levees around Lake Okeechobee.
Time to leave.
This may be very, very bad.
Indiana is. a good place and congrats on getting to see them. My son in Boca sent his wife and baby to Texas to visit her parents
The crisis fidiots are out in force. They pray for the Cat. 10 hurricane. They dream of naming this hurricane Trump.
