Former first daughter Sasha Obama is reportedly set to start college at the University of Michigan next week.
The Detroit News reports that the 18-year-old younger daughter of former President Barack and Michelle Obama was spotted on campus attending freshman orientation this summer and is back again this week with Secret Service agents.
While neither the school nor a spokeswoman for Michelle Obama would comment on her enrollment, several students talked about seeing her ahead of the start of fall term next Tuesday.

U of M is a public ivy university, considered to be equal to Ivy League schools. Among the top rated in the country for pre- med, social work, and teaching degrees, also veterinary.

She will be looking for that no work, maximum party-time degree that all such entitled young folk go to college for! Earning a living will not be much of an issue for her. I am sure in the future she will marry & divorce well!

Sasha definitely got all the good looks in the family. Her sister is still dating a British posh boy, so we’ll see if she becomes Mrs. Farquharson at some point.

Michigan is no slouch. It’s absolutely in the top tier of public universities along with UT Austin, UCLA, Berkeley, Virginia etc. However, it’s simply untrue that it’s equivalent to Harvard, Yale, Princeton in terms of snob appeal or exclusivity. At this point, those top tier Ivy schools are virtually off limits to all but a very small group of kids that fall into one of these categories: ultra-rich, alumni legacy, athlete or “diversity” case. If you’re just a regular smart kid who doesn’t fall into one of those categories, you’re very unlikely to get into Harvard/Yale. On the other hand, at this point at least, regular folks can still attend the top tier public universities.
She’s much better looking than her mom, that’s for sure.

Good question. Sasha is the best looking member of the Obama family, and she looks nothing like Barak or Michelle.
