Todays Cryptogram
HGC BIW TWIW XG WMIPVT XTW YGIEO, BMO HGC PQFGKWIPZT HGCIZWES PS HGC SGIAWX XTW WIIBMO. ---YGGOIGY YPEZGM
You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for todays Cryptogram.
If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it to Hals Helper below:
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper.
Todays puzzle is from the Arkansas Gazette.
Solution to our last puzzle:
The way to right wrongs is to turn the light of truth upon them. - Ida B. Wells
Nice quote. 1 minute. First 2 words are key!
I started with several wrong guesses, but still got it rather quickly.
O is the key
I wouldn’t quite put it that way but it was different times when he quoted it
You certainly make these CGs more entertaining...
I try NOT to use quotes from people I despise, but sometimes they slip thru. This man left a terrible swath of despair in his wake. It leads me to believe that our greatest threat is ourselves.
I honestly do NOT believe we would have endured 4 years of a Hillary Clinton presidency. No way. China and Russia would be smelling the blood in the water, and moved to consolidate their holdings, that they believe are their holdings.
Iran would be more bold. We would be forced to fight or acquiesce. Millions of people have died from wars the dems started.
Four minutes, due to some wrong guesses.
I despise the author, though. This person’s impact on human history, in a negative way, is incredibly ironic given the quote!
I agree with you -to a point — On an HRC pResidency...
BUT was this responsed supposed to go to Yossarian?
#11...
It seems fitting....<: <: <:
Got it. Where there’s a will there’s a way, son...
Terrible today, at least fifteen minutes. It just didn’t click.
